Throughout the one year project period, the research team will 1) host three bi+ community ShARPs, panels that combine community and professional expertise for research; 2) develop a survey based on feedback from ShARPs, emphasizing primary care needs; 3) conduct a health services research study to provide the survey to 100 bi+ Howard Brown primary care patients; 4) analyze the resulting qualitative and quantitative survey data; 5) host a community event to discuss project findings; and 6) plan ways to use data to apply for additional funds to impact the bi+ primary care experience. Throughout all project development and execution, the team will utilize a community-engaged approach that uplifts and prioritizes the voices of bi+ people.
